Welcome, Stella!

Stella arrived at the POND and headed off to Dr. Drygas. The reports indicated that she has IVDD with compression in the lumbar area. Also, it seems that she has ataxia.  The good news is that Stella may not need back surgery, but instead prescribing prednisone may be a solution. Further investigation into the ataxia is ongoing. Both medical issues could lead to normal life if managed well.

UPDATE:

Stella's back surgery is so far very successful. More news to follow.

Stella continues to improve.  She is a nice little girl and fits in well with her foster family.
