Oh sweet Porter. He is a lovely, gentle and happy guy. He came to the Pond because he suffered a serious back injury. After surgery by a great vet, Potter is on the road to recovery. He is slowly gaining mobility and continence of his elimination system. During his recovery, Porter will need to be barred from going up or down stairs of any kind.  Even with small steps or curbs, he should be carried or they should be avoided.  Careful steps should be taken with him, so he can achieve maximum recovery and health. Porter is crate trained and respectful in the house.
